Hospitality Ministers extend a heartfelt welcome to everyone at Saint Anne from greetings on Sunday morning to serving in the kitchen. Their hospitality makes it easy to relax and settle into the life of Saint Anne. Anyone having talent for inviting, welcoming and serving others is encouraged to join any of these ministries.
This group arrives early to each service and welcomes parishioners and guest as they enter the sanctuary. They are available throughout the service to assist newcomers. After the service they will accompany newcomers to Sunday school and/or coffee hour. Contact Essie Reed for more information.
Kitchen Angel
This group is responsible for making sure the kitchen is tidy after the 11:15 service. Volunteers will be assigned a maximum of one Sunday a month. The work includes picking up and putting coffee cups, and plates into the dishwasher, running and emptying dishwasher as necessary. For potluck and reception days the reception committee joins in the cleanup. Contact Lorena Shaw for more information.
Newcomers Dinner
This group welcomes new members into the parish by holding a special dinner just for them. Vestry, clergy and staff introduce new members to the ministries of Saint Anne in an informal setting. Over dinner new members are able to find out more about what makes Saint Anne a wonderful place to be. If you are interested in helping with this ministry, please contact Melanie Killian.
Reception Committee
This group is responsible for helping make celebrations and special occasions a joyous event. When you join this committee you will not have to attend any meetings because we communicate by email. You are guaranteed to make new friends and meet lots of nice folks. Contact Connie Cook if you are interested in this ministry.
