Commission on Addiction & Recovery
The Episcopal Commission on Addiction & Recovery is a ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas dedicated to enhancing the spiritual, physical, emotional, and social well-being of communicants in matters of substance abuse and other addictions. Our primary objective is to provide information, education, and resources for recovery within the framework of the restorative Gospel of Love.
The Commission recognizes that alcoholism, drug dependency, co-dependency, and other addictions affect many persons in our Diocese. Our goal is to support and affirm an addiction-free lifestyle, and to build bridges to programs that help people address addictions of all kinds. We will stay informed about community resources and offer referral assistance when needed.

Hospitality
Hospitality Ministers extend a heartfelt welcome to everyone on Sunday morning at the door, and help worshippers find what they need and know what to do. Their hospitality makes it easy to relax and settle into the worship experience.
Anyone having talent for inviting and welcoming is encouraged to join this ministry.

Newcomers
The Newcomers Ministry helps people learn about life at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church and helps introduce them to the parish family. The clergy, vestry and activity representatives collectively invite new members to attend regular dinners throughout the year to answer any questions to familiarize people with St. Anne’s and the parish leaders. These dinners are also an excellent way for newcomers to meet the other people that are excited to grow with St. Anne’s.

Ultreya
Ultreyas are monthly or quarterly gatherings combining our smaller reunion groups into geographic gatherings—the Ultreya is a place in which there is singing, praising our Lord Jesus Christ, prayer, fellowship, and communion.
Ultreya is a Spanish word used by young Christian men to encourage one another during their annual pilgrimage up the mountain to the tomb of St. James the Apostle. It means "Onward! Upward! Forward! Persevere!"
Ultreyas meet monthly in the following locations. If you are in our area, please drop in and share the spirit with us. These Ultreyas are open to all who wish to follow Jesus!
